Kindergarten Christmas Play

Tuesday, December 09, 2014

Hi TLCS Kindergarten Parents,

Our Christmas play is right around the corner—It’s next Wednesday, December 17th at 9am in Monschke Hall.  Today we were able to go through TLC’s costume closet and piece together costumes for next week’s play.  All students will still need to come to school in a “base color” (see other side), but we were able to come up with many costumes and accessories for the majority of our students.  However, we are still lacking in some areas.  Would you be willing to help us?  Here is what we need:

  • Monetary Donations: We had to order 7 sets of angel wings and halos from Amazon.com.  The sets were $10 each.  We will also need to make a trip to Beverly’s and/or the Dollar Store for a few things.  If you are able to help us monetarily, please send cash or a check to school in your child’s folder in an envelope labeled “Christmas Play.”
  • Sewing and/or Costume Making Help:
    • Our animal costumes [ox (1), donkeys (3), and sheep (2)] are tattered.  We can make them work, but, please let us know if you can help us make them better.  We want our animals to look fabulous!
    • Thank you to the moms of our stars who have already volunteered to make new star headpiece cut outs for their children.
    • Our shepherds’ costumes are complete, but they don’t have staffs.  We would love to add those this year.  Please let us know if you have a staff or would be willing to make/buy one.

Christmas Play Base Colors:
