Busy Bees’ Kindergarten

October 13-17

 

Thanks again for all of the classroom support we had last week. We had an awesome time meeting the firefighters and checking out their truck on Thursday. 

 

Important Dates:

Monday, October 13^th: Home and School Club Meeting, Room 822

Thursday, Ocober 16^th: Drive for schools deadline (tickets and $ to office).

Friday, October 17^th:  Teacher In-service, No school and no Crosswalk

Monday, October 20^th :  K-2^nd Chapel, Monschke Hall, 2:25 pm

Friday, October 31^st: Field Trip to Natural Bridges State Park to visit the Monarch Butterflies.  Please turn in your permission slips and sign up to drive ASAP.  Students should wear orange and black.  Thanks!

 

Homework (due Friday):

1.   Ii Handwriting page

2.   Ii Phonics page

3.   2-3 choices from the monthly family activity calendar

4.   Practice counting from 0-5 each night and from 5 backwards to 0.

5.   Read (at least) 10 minutes with your child every night.
