Busy Bees’ Kindergarten

November 3^rd-7^th

 

We are really looking forward to meeting with all of you this week!  We have seen so much growth already and are excited to share all that we’ve been teaching and learning in kindergarten.

Important Dates:

Monday, November 3^rd at 2:25: K-2 Character Trait Chapel

November 4^th through November 7^th: School is out at 12 for Parent Teacher Conferences.  Crosswalk is available until 6pm.

Monday, November 10^th: No School

Thursday, November 20^th: TLCS Science Night!!!

Monday, November 24^th at 2:25: Kindergarten Chapel.  Join us!

Tuesday, November 25^th at 1:30: Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast

Wednesday, November 26^th-28^th: No School

Minimum Day FYI:

School is out at 12 Tuesday, 11/4 through Friday, 11/7, but our morning schedule will stay the same.  If you are signed up for centers, we’ll see you at the usual time (10:15).  Also, our little kinders are used to eating lunch at 11:30, so we plan on packing up right after centers and letting them eat outside as usual.  Hot lunch, however, is only available at Crosswalk, so please pack a healthy snack and lunch for your child.  Thank you!! 

Homework (due Friday):

1. Oo Handwriting page
2. Oo Phonics page
3. 2-3 choices from the monthly family activity calendar
4. Have your child practice writing numbers 1-5 in sand, salt, or dirt J 
5. Read (at least) 10 minutes with your child every night.
