100TH DAY NEWS
100th Day: Today is
the 90th day of school-- time flies when you're having fun! That means that our
100th day celebration is right around the corner (Tuesday, February 3rd). I
have some fun activities planned for your children as well as a special art
project for you to help your child with at home over the next two weeks.
In lieu of the
regular weekly homework for the weeks of 1/20 and 1/26, I would like you to
help your child create a work of art using 100 objects. Here are a few
examples:

I would love to have
the art projects displayed on the 100th day, so they will be due Friday, January
30th (2 weeks from Friday).
Also, I will need a
couple extra parent volunteers to help with 100th day centers Tuesday, February
3rd from 10:20-11:30. Please let me know
if you are interested!
Lastly, if you would like to
organize a 100th day snack buffet for our kids to enjoy in the afternoon (Room
Moms??), please let me know! I found this sample online, but our buffet could
be any combo of food items. :)
